
Emily Taheny is an actress with a particular flair for comedy. She has worked extensively onscreen in various comedic and dramatic roles.
Emily was a regular ensemble member of Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell spanning fifteen seasons for which she was nominated for the 2015 AACTA’s Best Comedy Performance award. Emily’s film credits include Kangaroo, The Flip Side opposite Eddie Izzard, The Heckler and Now Add Honey.
Her theatre and cabaret credits include Looking for Lawson, Spontaneous Broadway, Bond-A-Rama, Mad for
Mancini, Cliff Hanger, Eurobeat and Kwanda by Tom Ballard.
She can be seen in the upcoming stage play Housework as part of the Sydney Theatre Company’s 2026 season.
