Annie Maynard’s first role after graduating from NIDA 2004 was a sex-positive reindeer in The Reindeer Monologues for Belvoir with Rebel Wilson. Since then, her theatre credits include The Government Inspector and Noises Off for STCSA, Privates Lives with QTC and STCA, Maralinga Project, and Capricornia, both for Company B Belvoir, Comedy Gala with John Cleese at the Sydney Opera House, and My First Time also at the Sydney Opera House. Midsummer Night’s Dream for Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Stoning Mary and Orestes 2.0 for Griffin Theatre Company.  In 2018 Annie appeared in an all-female version of Accidental Death Of An Anarchist for the Sydney Theatre Company, directed by Sarah Giles.

On screen, Annie can be seen in Curio Pictures’ Playing Grace Darling for Paramount+ and as ‘Yvette the Vet’ in the AACTA Award winning BINGE Original Series, Colin From Accounts.  Her other television credits have included the lead role of Bess in Upper Middle Bogan (Series 1-3), NCIS: Sydney (Series 3), Heartbreak High (Series 2), Wellmania, Summer Love, Playing for Keeps, Spirited (Series 2), Black Comedy, Dead Lucky, Love Child, A Moody Christmas, Rake (Series 3), Puberty Blues and Sunny Nights.

Annie Maynard has most recently been seen in Dear Life for Stan, the second series of Return To Paradise and the original new children’s series, Caper Crew, for the ABC.
