John Voce relocated to Melbourne over three years ago, having trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and lived and worked in London for almost 35 years.

Naturally RP, but also expert in pretty much all UK regional accents, including Welsh, Scottish and Irish (both Northern and Southern!), he has a lovely, rich voice, with a massive range; chatty, real, and hugely experienced. John’s classical theatre training and comedy background have given him excellent improvisation and devising skills.

In addition to over thirty years of regular voice work in the UK, including major campaigns, audio books (John is a regularly featured artist in the Big Finish Dr. Who audio series), narratives, multi-platform games, documentary narrative and animation, John has also worked here in Australia on commercial campaigns and corporate projects, including “in-situ experience” work for Sovereign Hill. In addition, John has great experience in television and film, including Dr. Who (BBC TV), Downton Abbey (ITV), Jonathan Creek (BBC) and Grantchester (ITV).

Now fully acclimatised, and getting to know his third Australian PM in as many years, John looks forward to meeting you in the booth!
