Biography
Lee Perry is arguably Australia’s most talented and in demand voice over artist.
With a long history in the voice over industry, Lee has worked with essentially every advertising agency and recording studio in Australia, with his adaptability and range helping to bring to life any brief a client may have.
His characters are believable and utterly distinct as he proved when he created the voice for Baz Lurhmann’s worldwide hit “Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen”. Lee’s animation credits include Happy Feet (2016) and Happy Feet Two (2011), performing the voice of “Eggbert the Elder” and other additional characters alongside Robin Williams, Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and Elijah Wood. Lee’s other feature film credits include Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024), Gods of Egypt (2016), Mad Max: Fury Road (2016) and The Great Gatsby (2012).
Lee’s voice is heard on hundreds of advertising campaigns throughout the Asia-Pacific area, and his international style fits perfectly with a wide range of cultures which require a “no accent” performance. Have a listen to Lee Perry’s demos and character voices to understand how talented and versatile his voice truly is.
