Biography
Lisa Hensley has worked hard to become one of Australia’s most sought-after voice artists. Her reputation precedes her as someone who is extremely talented, professional, and a joy to work with.
Because of her success as one of Australia’s finest actors, Lisa not only has an incredible ability to bend and change her voice to suit the product but it is her powerful ability to illicit an emotive feeling through her unique voice that has her in high demand for campaigns. She has that rare quality that is so hard to teach – a voice that cuts through and is compelling.
Having won an AFI award for her memorable performance in the seminal ABC series Brides of Christ as well as countless leads in both film, TV and stage Lisa is still in demand as an actor. She has just completed the third season of Black Comedy and completed two seasons of Matilda Brown’s highly praised series Lets Talk About, where she starred opposite Australian acting icon Byran Brown.
Yet it really is voice overs that she holds most dear, as it is not only dynamic but offers her huge creative diversity as well. No two jobs are ever the same.
