Ming-Zhu’s Hii rich, trustworthy and agile voice has been the magic melt-in-your-ears ingredient on an extensive and diverse range of campaigns across major and boutique brands for well over 15 years.
She is a passionate, devoted voiceover artist and her professionalism, sophistication and versatility keep her in constant demand. She relishes being in the booth, playing with language, and working closely with studios and clients; ensuring her skillful and rigorous collaboration is a well-trusted asset in the fast-paced world of storytelling media and advertising.
As an actor, Ming-Zhu Hii has an extensive list of screen credits with recent series-regular roles including Fran in ABC’s THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR, and Taryn Quinn in Stan’s PROSPER. Other recurring and regular TV credits include Kirsty in the Paramount+ mini-series FAKE, Dr. Aldridge in NBC’s LA BREA, Detective Snr. Sgt. Mila Bronski in HALIFAX RETRIBUTION, as well as recurring and regular roles in SISTERS, NEWTON’S LAW, and Shaun Micallef’s MAD AS HELL and THE EX-PM. Her feature film appearances include PETER RABBIT, UPGRADE and SLEEPING DOGS.
Ming-Zhu Hii is an award-winning filmmaker and was 2018/19 Director in Residence at Malthouse Theatre, so she also knows a thing or two about the importance of getting a read absolutely spot-on.
