Ming-Zhu’s Hii rich, trustworthy and agile voice has been the magic melt-in-your-ears ingredient on an extensive and diverse range of campaigns across major and boutique brands for over 15 years.
She is a passionate, devoted voiceover artist and her professionalism, sophistication and versatility ensure that she is always in demand. She loves being in the booth, loves playing with language, and she adores her clients.
As an actor, Ming-Zhu Hii plays series regular Taryn Quinn in the hotly-anticipated 2024 Stan premium megachurch series PROSPER, Kirsty in the 2024 Paramount+ mini-series FAKE, and Dr. Margaret Xu in the forthcoming Russell Crowe feature film, SLEEPING DOGS. Other recent TV credits including the recurring role of mysterious Dr. Aldridge in NBC’s LA BREA, series regular Detective Snr. Sgt. Mila Bronski in HALIFAX RETRIBUTION, as well as regular and recurring roles in SISTERS, NEWTON’S LAW and THE EX-PM. Her feature film appearances also include Peter Rabbit and Upgrade.
Ming-Zhu Hii is an award-winning filmmaker and was 2018/19 Director in Residence at Malthouse Theatre, so she also knows a thing or two about the importance of getting a read absolutely spot-on. Her high standards, insight and unfailing work ethic ensure she nails every script with polish, good humour and aplomb.
