    BIOGRAPHY

    Tony has a unique voice that’s warm and reassuring. Tony Rickards’ career spans almost 40 years working in television, film, radio and stage. As a versatile actor, Tony is regularly called upon for “reality” takes and for his excellent comedy timing. His character voices, including numerous foreign accents, are in demand and often producers choose to use Tony’s wonderful easy-going style for their end tags, a refreshing change from the usual voice-over types. His versatility and acting skills would make him the perfect choice for animated characters. Tony also does excellent race-call reads! Recent voiceover credits include TV and radio campaigns for Ubet, Holden Colorado, Isuzu Trucks, The Drainman, Matador Barbecues, Specsavers, NRL and APIA.
