Bang Bang Studios is a sound post-production studio and has been around for 15 years. Polly McGregor, Producer and co-owner, and Holli Dee, Producer, have a wealth of experience between them. Including, producing soundtracks for big TV campaigns right down to smaller radio campaigns, online content and corporate work. In addition, they also work with a composer to produce music for advertising, which includes brand ads, jingles and retail ads.
Bang Bang Studios has a fast-paced working environment, with numerous short recording sessions throughout the day. Most days are full of a variety of small sessions, with numerous actors coming through, engaging in different projects for a wide variety of clients.
The biggest challenge
One of the biggest challenges Bang Bang Studios faces is the limited amount of time and sourcing the right talent for their quick recording sessions. EM Voices is the perfect solution. EM offers reliability, rapid responses, and seamless creative casting for each job. For example, they often have 10-15 sessions, whereby they need to cast, get actors in and organise whatever they need to make the recording successful. EM Voices responds fast, with the correct information and accurate availability for each voice artist.

A creative partnership
EM Voices and Bang Bang Studios strive hard and work together to create something special. Polly and Holli usually take charge of the casting process and forward their suggestions to EM Voices for availability. In the case of large-scale projects such as Racing Victoria or the Defence Force, more planning is necessary. The studio will provide EM with briefs, scripts, and timings and request assistance in both getting voice artist availability and establishing a cast. EM Voices is always prompt and efficient and always comes back with a variety of voices for each character.

In addition, the studio are happy to suggest voices who don’t necessarily meet the brief, but they feel will add value to the role. Therefore, giving new voice artists or artists with a slightly different tone, the opportunity to be recognised by different clients.
