How do I hire voice actors?
If you have found the voice you want to hire or need help finding the right voice, please contact EM Voices, and we can help you cast your project and guide you through the process. Just let us know the name of the artist you wish to hire or details on the type of voice you need for your project.
Next, we will need a clear list of what you require the voice over artist to do, and how the voiceover will be used, so we can give you a quote. This will be the mediums, usages and license details, as well as the length of scripts and how many scripts you need recorded. Once the quote is approved, we will then organise the session for you. It can be recorded in either a professional recording studio of your choice or the artist’s home studio. We then prefer you to direct and listen in while the session is recorded, so you can be part of creating the result you want.
Can I try more than one voice for my marketing campaign, narration or creative project?
You can certainly book more than one voice artist to read your script, but in most cases, each voice artist would need to be paid a submission fee for their initial recording. You can then choose which voice over you would like to use on the final project, and your preferred voice actor will also receive the applicable usage fee.
Are the EM Voices artists able to record themselves for my voice over project?
EM Voices has a strong roster of voices that have home studio facilities and can record for you. Artists can provide you with raw, unedited files of your session. As we do not charge for the use of our voice artists’ home studio, any editing, de-breathing or track selection would be your responsibility. You and/or your clients are welcome to join their recording session via a meeting link or phone call to provide feedback on tone and style.
How long does it take for an EM Voices artist to record my voice over project?
Once the voice artist receives your brief and script, they can typically return the files to you within 48 hours.
